Match Any Display

With Delta's built-in realtime display management, it can serve standard 2D or 3D movies onto any display surface, flat, curved or full dome.

In our standard Delta Lite software, we have full realtime distortion correction, edge blending and colour correction. These are interactive in realtime onscreen, and do not require a further render stage, simply align the display and hit play.

Furthermore, built-in Active or Passive stereo display systems are automatically dealt with, allowing the show creator to mix pre-rendered stereo content with mono, and choose the stereo depth and which eye to locate the mono content.

Full Dome Matching
Planetaria For full hemispherical, or hypo-hemispheric domes, Delta has an advanced Frustum Mode for show creation and delivery.

Instead of a flat display canvas, as in Delta Lite, Frustum mode is a completely 3D canvas, where content is placed around the dome surface in the natural 3D environment. In this case, any visual media (Images, Movies, Live Video Capture etc) can be mapped onto the dome as flat, panoramic or fisheye.

Automatic distortion correction is guaranteed by configuring the virtual display within Delta to match the real-world display, still with the ability to fine-tune the distortion to cope with real-world projector - screen geometry errors.

Delta can also cope with non standard screen shapes, as seen here in a Live Event in Las Vegas. A "Taco shell" shaped screen with 15 channels of overlapped & blended projection was used as a backdrop for speakers and vehicle demonstrations.

The advanced "Mesh Mode" in Delta was used to read in the customer's 3D screen mesh and map content appropriately to provide automatic geometric correction which resulted in a seamless single image across multiple Delta servers.

Multi Channel Architecture

Delta can create overlap (for multi channel projection) and underlap (typically to cope with plasma bezels) in either horizontal or vertical direction, and maintain this across multiple Delta PCs

Using the Canvas concept for display management, the convas is maintained across multiple Delta PCs, with each only "looking" at their own portion. In this way, a large, multi channel and multi rack display can be treated as an intuitive single canvas, with the operator placing content on it as one display.
