Realtime Special Effects

Everything in Delta is composited in realtime, every frame. For this reason, the show creator can at any time, drop a geometry resource onto the timeline & edit it, seeing the results onscreen immediately.

Geometry can be used as a display alignment feature, but also, by dropping onto any layer with visual media, the image, movie, live video take on that shape.

The geometric shape can be morphed between geometries any number of times, or switched in on a single frame, and if placed on the background layer, will affect all layers on that output channel.

Delta also has transparent fades, cross fades, fade to black, fade to monochrome on each resource independently or on a layer basis.

Add Motion Blur to the timeline to blur the edges of moving content by a specific amount.

Feather the edges of visual content, or choose a chroma key colour for partial transparency.

Crop the edges of any visual media to eliminate unwanted imagery.

Full 8-bit alpha plane supported in TGA, TIF & PNG images.

Easy fly-in & fly out effects are available on any visual media, simply choose the length of time & the effect, such as "Enter / Exit Stage", "Blinds" or "Zoom In / Out".
