High Resolution, High Framerate Media Serving

Delta is an HD capable Media Server designed to serve high resolution and high framerate moving content using only COTS hardware.

The right performance for your requirement can be achieved by selecting hardware ranging from a simple small form factor PC to a rackmount PC with cutting edge graphics and additional capabilities.

A range of compression rates are available (Uncompressed, lossless compression, 1.5:1 (422), 2:1 (420) and 6:1) to help match the price vs quality requirement.

Delta can serve movies mastered at 24, 25, 29.97, 30fps as well as custom and non standard formats such as 48, 50, 60, 72, 75, 96, 100fps.

Standard PC hardware

		Delta is multi channel output (2 minimum, up to 6 per PC) and scalable to a multi-rack coherent server system via ethernet. Complete video Genlock is also available as an option to suit large multi channel domes, simulation after action review or other fast moving content. Other options available include Live Video Capture (RGB, DVI, SDI, HD-SDI, SVideo, LAN based video or composite), Active or Passive Stereo. Delta can also be supplied as a software supply only, allowing the customer to supply their own hardware to our recommendations.

Full Show Creation and Control

The operator uses the Delta much like any non linear editing suite. The Delta GUI pictured opposite is multi rack aware, and allows the operator to construct shows "Near to Show", using the full drag & drop Graphical User Interface to add movies, images, audio, special effects and live video capture to the timeline.

The operator then simply presses play to immediately review the show on the server's output, or locally on the GUi via it's realtime preview.

Interactivity is available even during playback, allowing the operator to control overall audio & video levels, freeze specified video capture sources and monitor each server's output remotely.
